Melrose, MA – November 18, 2015 – The Melrose Bank Foundation recently made a $15,000 donation to the Stoneham Theatre to support its sixteenth season productions.
“Stoneham Theatre’s passion for exhibiting live performances yields an excitement for creative arts in our community. Furthermore, the youth initiative, The Young Company, offers students the opportunity to develop confidence, self-discipline and collaborate in diverse artistic programs,” said Jeff Jones, Melrose Bank President and CEO. “We have a long-standing commitment to the organization and are happy to support their efforts to deliver high-quality entertainment and educational programs year after year.”
Melrose Bank also sponsors Thrifty Thursday, an initiative to make professional theatre available and affordable to the community. Tickets to the first performance of each show cost only $15 at the door and are available one hour prior to showtime. “Christmas on the Air” is the next Thrifty Thursday performance and will take place on Friday, November 27th at 8:00pm.
