Melrose Bank Announces New Senior Mortgage Originator

Melrose, MA — Melrose Bank recently announced that Doug MacDonald has joined the bank as its Senior Mortgage Originator. Doug brings 35 years of mortgage lending experience with him that includes working at Winchester Savings Bank, Century Bank, Eastern Bank and the Melrose Savings Bank.

Doug is currently a Paul Harris Fellow with the Winchester Rotary Club and also brings many years of experience as a community activist with him. He has served Melrose as a 14 year member of the Board of Alderman, as a Melrose Public Library Trustee, and also as a member of the Melrose Redevelopment Authority. He served as President of the Melrose Chamber of Commerce and as a Trustee for the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Doug was also once the producer for the Melrose Mass Cable TV show "Melrose Today".
