Protect ATM and Debit Cards

Protect Your Cards
Always know where your cards are located and keep security top of mind during each transaction - in person and online. Destroy olds cards after they expire or when they are no longer needed. Be sure to cut through the account number and magnetic strip completely before disposing of a card.

Safeguard Your Personal Identification Number (PIN)

  • When choosing a Personal Identification Number, never use a number that can be determined from items in your wallet or purse.
  • It’s a good idea to memorize your PIN so that you never have to write it down on your card or anywhere else.
  • Don’t share your PIN with anyone.
  • If you receive an unsolicited call, never give any information about your debit card or PIN over the telephone.

Report Lost or Stolen ATM/Debit Cards
If you lose your ATM/Debit Card or believe you are a victim of a phishing or spoofing scam, our Card Services Department is available 24/7 at 1-800-264-5578. A representative will work with you to resolve any issue, restore security and get you a replacement card.

Lost or misplaced cards can also be deactivated instantly through Online Banking or our Mobile Banking App. If you happen to find a missing card, it can then be reactivated and normal use can resume.
